Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 July 2026
Chismic ("we", "us") provides a platform for home-nursing and caretaker bureaus to manage cases, staff, attendance, and billing. This policy covers the beta version of the service. It explains what we collect, why, and how it's handled.

Who this covers

Bureau admins and staff (nurses/caretakers) who use the app, and clients/patients whose information a bureau enters or who submit our public intake questionnaire. A bureau is the data controller for its own clients' information; we act as the platform it's stored on.

What we collect

• Account information: name, email, phone, password (stored hashed, never in plain text). • Staff credentials: nursing/caretaker license and registration details, PAN, government ID documents, and a live verification photo — collected during registration to verify staff before they're assigned to a case. • Client/patient information: name, contact details, service address, diagnosis and care notes, and attendance/vitals records entered by assigned staff — provided by the bureau or the client via the intake questionnaire. • Usage data: standard technical logs (device, app version, timestamps) for debugging and security.

Why we collect it

Solely to operate the service: matching staff to cases, verifying who is providing care, tracking attendance and billing accurately, and letting a bureau run its operations from one place. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Where it's stored

Data is stored with Supabase, our database and file-storage provider, with access controls restricting each bureau to its own data and each user to their own role's permissions. Identity documents and attendance photos are kept in private storage, not publicly accessible.

Who can see it

Within a bureau: admins can see the bureau's own cases, staff, and client data; staff can see the cases they're assigned to. Data is never shared across bureaus, and never with third parties, except as needed to run the service itself (our hosting/database provider) or if required by law.

Your choices

Staff can review and update their own profile and documents in the app. To request deletion of your account or data, contact the bureau you're registered with, or reach us directly (see Contact below) — during this beta period, delete requests are handled manually.

Beta status

This is an invite-only beta. Features, and this policy, may change as the product develops; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
